FIBER REINFORCED CONCRETE BOWLING BALL REGIONAL COMPETITION
April 23 @ 11:00 am - 1:30 pm
ACI’s internationally recognized student competitions, typically offered in cooperation with the ACI Student Activities Committee, give students the opportunity to participate in interesting and educational concrete projects. The Minnesota Concrete Council Local Chapter of ACI will hold a regional FRC Bowling Ball competition.
Objectives: The objective of both competitions is to demonstrate the behavior of fiber reinforcement within concrete, to gain experience in forming and fabricating a fiber-reinforced concrete element, and to encourage creativity with compliance in engineering design and analysis. The MCC Local Chapter regional competition is intended to be fun, friendly, and informal. Students and MCC members can compete. There is a category for each group.
Competition: The ACI 2026 FRC Bowling Ball rules can be found here. The Chapter rules are subject to change based on the number of teams who participate.
