February Breakfast Meeting: US Highway 53 Relocation Project

February Breakfast Meeting: US Highway 53 Relocation Project
In 2015 MnDOT awarded the Highway 53 Relocation Project in Virginia, MN to Omaha based Kiewit Infrastructure Company. This was a two-year, $220 million project, which included building 3.1 miles of new state highway, relocating a recreation trail and constructing an 1,100-foot bridge over the Rouchleau pit. The speakers will discuss the challenges of this project and how the entire project team worked together to deliver a successful project ahead of schedule.
Will White and Jim Thomsen - both of Kiewit Construction - will be the presenters.
Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for one professional development hour at the conclusion of the event. Please see the MCC website for AIA credit availability.

Registration opens at 7:00 am.  A full hot breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 7:15 am.  The presentation will begin at 8:00 am and will conclude by 9:00 am.
