Breakfast Meeting: Floor Flatness from the Engineer and Contractor Perspective

"Floor Flatness from the Engineer and Contractor Perspective" will be presented by Chris Sjolander (Northland Concrete & Masonry) and Mary Vancura, PhD, PE (Beton Consulting Engineers).  Achieving floor flatness/ floor level values that meet project specifications and allow the floor covering trade to install without delay is a constant challenge in construction. This can have a tremendous impact on the construction schedule, budget and ultimately the project’s completion date. This presentation discusses typical flat floor specifications and the steps necessary to produce flat floors.  The presentation also raises awareness of the disparity between Division 03 and Division 09 and discusses what F-number specifications mean to the concrete contractor.

Registration opens at 7:00 am.  A full hot breakfast buffet will be served beginning at 7:15 am.  The presentation will begin at 8:00 am and will conclude by 9:00 am.
