MN Concrete Forum: Performance Engineered Mixtures - Minnesota

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED DUE TO FORECASTED SEVERE WEATHER.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), sixteen state departments of transportation, and four national associations representing the concrete paving industry have come together in a pooled fund project to bring together newer testing technologies to maximize concrete pavement performance. Minnesota is currently participating in this multi-year pooled fund project and shadow testing portions of the current AASHTO PP-84 standard practice. As part of this effort, the FHWA brought the mobile concrete trailer (MCT) to the I-35 concrete paving project near Forest Lake, MN. The speaker will share the results from the FHWA MCT as well as additional results from past and upcoming shadow testing projects.

The presenter will be Robert Golish, PE (Minnesota Department of Transportation).

Registration opens at 9:30 am.  The presentation begins at 10:00 am and will conclude by 11:30 am.
