MN Concrete Forum: MnDOT’s Experience with Fiber Reinforced Concrete for Pavements and Bridges

In the last 2 - 4 years MnDOT has focused greater attention on the use of fiber reinforced concrete (FRC) as a mitigation technique for bridge deck cracking and thin concrete pavement joint faulting.  The Speaker will discuss MnDOT’s recent experience with FRC concrete including widespread use in bridge deck overlays, a 5 inch thick whitetopping project, an unjointed concrete roundabout and ongoing research at MnROAD. 

Registration opens at 9:30 am.  The presentation begins at 10:00 am and will conclude by 11:30 am.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Attendees will be awarded a certificate of attendance for one hour. MCC is an AIA CES registered provider. In some cases, AIA credits will also be available.
