Breakfast Meeting: Let's Build for Safety!
Join us Thursday, June 21 for an EXTENDED breakfast meeting. The presentations will begin at 8:00 am (after breakfast) and will conclude by 11:00 am.
Concrete is the clear material of choice for constructing buildings that are strong, safe and durable. Ironically, the use of concrete in the construction of low to mid-rise structures has been declining and has been replaced with weaker, less resilient construction materials and methods that put occupants, owners, contractors, designers and first responders at risk. The purpose of this seminar is to illustrate how these construction materials and methods stack up against concrete in terms of durability and safety. Our end goal is for the concrete industry to be able to fully inform potential owners and decision makers that when they build with concrete these risks are greatly reduced or eliminated.
