MnDOT has specified high performance concrete pavement for many years on concrete paving and bridge superstructure projects.  In 2016, MnDOT moved to Contractor/Producer Mix Designs for all ready-mix concrete which now includes 28-day compressive strength requirements.  The speaker will discuss how the transition is going as well as MnDOT’s movement towards FHWA Initiative of Performance Engineered Concrete Mix Designs for concrete paving projects and current mix design options for performance based bridge superstructure.

Cost for members to attend breakfast meetings is $25 ($20 early bird). The non-member rate is $35 ($30 early bird). PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Walk-ins may be turned away.

CONTINUING EDUCATION

Attendees will be awarded a certificate of attendance for one hour. MCC is an AIA CES registered provider. In some cases, AIA credits will also be available.
